Networking Fair 2017: Integrating Our Communities
The Greater Pittsburgh Psychological Association (GPPA) will be holding a Networking Event this year, titled “Integrating Our Communities.” The theme and activities of the evening will bring together multiple disciplines that impact psychological and socio-political aspects of physical and mental health.
The event will be held at Hotel Monaco on their rooftop patio and Rialto suite
on Wednesday, October 4th 2017
from 5:30 – 8:30PM.
The evening will include speed networking, hors devours, one-hour open bar, a live band, and multiple speakers, including Judge David Spurgeon. Among many accomplishments, he has focused recent efforts and resources toward protecting individuals affected by domestic violence. He has supervised the Domestic Violence Unit, Pittsburgh Municipal Court, Mental Health Court, and served an essential role in the creation of Veterans’ Court for Allegheny County. Judge Spurgeon also facilitated the first Intimate Partner Violence Homicide Review Team in Allegheny County, which examines system breakdowns in this crime type.
